Management Profile

Alex P. Lucas

President/Chief Executive Officer

ABOUT

Mr. Lucas has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, beginning as a Construction Surveyor soldier in 1986 for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and later retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He has progressed in his professional career as a Military Engineer Officer, Defense Contractor, and General Contractor assuming various leadership positions including Construction Platoon Leader, Company Commander, Project Manager, Program Manager, Construction Contracting Manager and now ICS President/Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Lucas was responsible for the success of various military, government and privately owned construction projects during his career. His experience includes but is not limited to the success in the construction of the Walter Reed Institute of Research, a $144 million “state of the art” research laboratory as well as program management oversight for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) $2.3 billion New Campus East project.

ICS is also a Class A licensed General Contractor in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia and West Virginia. The professional ICS team brings technical expertise, thorough knowledge of codes and regulations, and hands-on field experience to each project.
